Ok, I WASN’T hungry until this…
I would say the beef bourguignon was a big success. Like a beef stew but with big red wine and cognac taste. I used the recipe from Food Network. Differences… I soaked the beef overnight in the wine, salt and pepper, and thyme. And I used one yellow onion instead of two. I may try a slow cooker recipe the next time for more tender meat, but it was still really good.
